Canon Powers
Cultivation- Being the first son of one of the four most renowned sects within the cultivation world, he is a master cultivator with an extensive knowledge of martial arts, swordplay, and talisman magic. He is especially skilled with his family's cultivation, which utilizes the slaughter and blood of beasts to fuel the energy of their swords. The Nies also have a specific connection to their swords that most other sects don't have, where they cannot be parted from them for too long, and whatever damage can occur to their sword can also, in turn, be caused to them. It also allows him to see spirits and send spiritual energy.
Superhuman Strength- Where many cultivators can train their bodies and spiritual energy together to manipulate their strength, Nie Mingjue manages to take this step tenfold. Advertised as one of the top three physically strongest characters in the series, he can lift multiple people with one arm, punch through stone walls like it's nothing, and punch through a human with a single punch. He could slaughter an entire village with a single disembodied arm when he was undead in canon.
Spiritual Manipulation- Like all cultivators, he can manipulate and harness his spiritual energy and project it outwards. Using the resentful spirits of the beasts he had slaughtered with his sword and his qi, he can control his sword without holding it. He can use it to project towards his opponents, fight others without even being close, and even stand upon it as he makes it float to fly! Sky surfing on your sword, anyone?
Martial Arts Master- Being the leader of the Qinghe Nie sect, he is the martial master of his clan and the one who teaches and supports the cultivation of sword fighting and military techniques of his family. His expertise lies in using the saber, his sword Baxia, which he almost always keeps at his side because of the spiritual attachment he has to it.
Sword Flight - If he ever receives his sword back, he can imbue his spiritual energy into it and control it to fly to his will. It can even support his weight, allowing him to surf and fly across great distances.
Steel Skin - Not literally, but Nie Mingjue's flesh is known to be so invulnerable that not even metal blades can usually cut through it.
Fierce Corpse - Nie Mingjue bears a hereditary curse intensified by his family’s unique cultivation method, making it nearly inevitable that he becomes a fierce walking corpse upon death. In this form, he is portrayed as the most powerful Fierce Corpse in the novel, reanimated by immense resentful energy. This state is marked by bluish skin, and while he can feel pain, he has near-immunity to physical injury. He lacks full sentience, identifying allies and enemies solely by scent. Fresh blood further unleashes his sealed, resentful energy, significantly increasing his destructive potential.
Nie Mingjue can also cause corpse poisoning, a deadly illness spread through necrotic blood or toxic powder, primarily through inhalation. Even when dismembered, his body parts can act independently and possess others. Due to his overwhelming power and near immortality in this state, special rules restrict this state to thirty minutes in-game before he vanishes and revives.

INVENTORY

  • Cursed Spiritual Sword; Baxia
  • An intricate woolen cape embroidered with trees and mountains and rimmed with fur.
  • A Qiankun Bag (it's bigger on the inside)
  • A Spirit-Trapping Bag: It captures ghosts! (Only one at a time)
  • A handful of Signal Fireworks, flares that show his clan's symbol upon going off.
  • Calligraphy Painting of A Bird - A painting his younger brother made
  • Magic Liquid (1)- This magical liquid lets you use powers from another seasonal power tree for ten minutes. However, the liquid only works under certain conditions: when the user has used up or lost all their normal magical powers. Good for one use per potion.
  • Booster Dice (1)- A dice in various colors and designs, with 10 sides. Roll this dice to get a random booster (health, defense, attack, magical energy boost, all in one, panacea) or a random minor curse/negative status (reverse movements, talk in riddles, stun, poison). Effects last for two hours and can be countered with other abilities.
  • Weather Boots (1)- A pair of boots that will keep the feet dry no matter what. (But the moment the boots get wet, a random boot appears and hits the wearer on the head.)
  • Weather Rock (1)- A rock that predicts the weather. (A normal rock at the end of a rope, with very helpful instructions of "If the rock is wet is rains" and so on)
  • Berry Nice To Meet You (1)- A box of berries that can be fed to wild animals and they'll be more friendly towards you should you run into any trouble with them. Does not work on most of the monsters.
  • Bread of Nostalgia (1)- A bread that will magically taste like a food you have back in your world. It can be anything you're currently craving and it can be different every time you buy a new one (or not, if you really just want that one thing). Perfect cure for homesickness.
  • Creature Treats (1)- A box of treats that can be fed to creatures (like winged mounts and more monster like animals) and they'll be more friendly towards you should you run into any trouble with them. Does not work on regular animals or pokemon.
  • Pokemon Food (1) - Authentic Pokémon Food that will last one Pokémon for a whole month! Comes in both "suitable for all" and "type specific" flavors. Pokémon do tend to eat anything, but these are full of nutrients they might need.
  • Pokemon Treats (1) - A mix pack of Pokepuffs, Malasadas and Poffins. While Pokémon eat a lot of different things as snacks, these are said to increase the happiness and bond between them and their trainer.
  • Soothing Lavender (1) - A bag of dried lavender meant to help with falling asleep. They say if you combine them with six other herbal bags you will see your soulmate in a dream.
  • Magic Reload (1) - A way to reload your weapon with the essence you need. The potion copies the pattern of the substance and creates a similar ammo in return. It's not the genuine stuff, but it will still work just as well. Good for one full load.
  • Berry Good To See You (1) - A box that can be fed to wild animals and they'll be friendly towards you. (Actually makes them follow you around, wanting more food.)
  • Soda Pop (1) - A drink that will instantly make you feel better! (Gives horrible heartburn as a side effect.)
  • Soothing Passionflower (1) - A bag of dried flower petals that help you fall asleep. (Almost guaranteed to make you sleep in until noon the next day.)
  • To-Go Bars (1) - A bag of dried flower petals that help you fall asleep. (Almost guaranteed to make you sleep in until noon the next day.)
  • Energy Drink (1) - A drink that will make one's mind and body refreshed, like they just had a full night's sleep. Wears out slowly during the day.
  • On-The-Go-Bars (1) - Breakfast bars that restore energy, intended to be eaten on the road while out on quests. They come in a pack of 6, with a prize in the box like a bouncy ball or plastic maze (think cereal box prizes).
